Abba’s Orchard

After over 2 years of school searching, trial and error, and what-not, we’ve finally found the school we think we will stay with for a long, long time 🙂

The Abba’s Orchard is located inside Villa Aurora, right smack in the middle of the city.  We instantly fell in love with the school because of its’ philosophy (it’s a Montessori school by the way – the methods are almost exactly the ones you will read about in her handbook).  But we fell in love with it more when we saw the campus.  If they put so much detail into the landscaping and safety features, and sanitation, what more on the kid’s education?!?!  Anyway, so far, we are extremely happy with how Matthew is turning out.  He is very independent (although there are episodes that all kids are prone to), he can read so well (he is only 5), and he can multiply up to 4 digits already.  WOOT!!!

If you’re looking for a school that will allow your child to spread his own wings, then this is the school for you 🙂  I don’t think it is healthy for parents who expect traditional education.

  1. Aww, I’ve been a student in Abba’s Orchard in their Cagayan De Oro campus for over 8 years already. And I’m now in the first year of high school. It was nice reading your review about Abba’s Orchard. 🙂
