we called baby #1 bambino, baby #2 bambini and we didn’t like the sound of bambina so when we became pregnant with baby #3, we called her bumpini. And our little boy was ecstatic when he saw the word bumpini telling me, “mom, that’s us! you call us bumpini!”

taga isla. started this blog as a momma of 1 feisty boy of 5 who lives for adventure and a charming 2 year old babe seeking independence. this was supposed to be an ode to all things Cebu - what’s great about being born, bred, and raised on the island. but as fate would have it, i’m shifting to write mostly about my crafty adventures and experiments for my cutesywutesy offspring. i’m glad they don’t mind having homemade stuff
at times, i will still feature places to see, people to know, lives to touch and adventures to behold on the island but as most working mums know, home is always where the heart is so i’m stuck enjoying mumhood with my little bumps.
i hope you enjoy the homemade stuff as much as we enjoyed making them.
